Minor Atom Mississippi Thunder Kings win the 21st Annual North York Knights Challenge Hockey Tournament
Sporting a record of 1-1-1 in round robin play, the MTK team found themselves finished in 4th place to set up a league rival matchup with the Stittsville Rams. Winning that game 3-0 MTK moved on to the finals for a rematch against the Toronto Eagles and came out victorious with a 2-1 win to take the GOLD! Strong forechecking, dedicated back checking, and solid goaltending was the winning combination. Congratulations to all players, coaches, and team officials! Thanks to all the family and friends for their support throughout the year and during the weekend! What an amazing weekend for hockey!
